Getting it Right for Early Years

SPPA's National Conference, AGM and Exhibition, Getting it Right for Early Years, is being held in the spectacular setting of Our Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh on Thursday 11 November.

The theme for the day has an emphasis on Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC). This is the programme that aims to improve outcomes for all children by promoting a shared approach that builds solutions with and around children and families. It enables children to get the help they need when they need it; supports a positive shift in culture, systems and practice; and involves working together to make things better.  This year’s conference will demonstrate how pre-school providers and parents can give their children the very best start in life.

Speakers

Foundations of flourishing: young people’s well-being:
Dr Carol Craig – Chief Executive, Centre for Confidence and Well-being.

Investing to Get it Right for Every Child
