SPPA achieves Investors in People Award

SPPA is delighted to announce our achievement of the prestigious Investors in People Award.

Over the past year SPPA has been working towards achieving the Investors in People Standard. This work concluded with a successful external assessment in October. The Standard examines organisations against a range of indicators
which relate to:

• Developing strategies to improve the performance of organisations
• Taking action to improve the performance of the organisation
• Evaluating the impact on the performance of the organisation

SPPA was able to demonstrate that it met the Standard in all respects and was highly commended for its shared value base, communication with staff, the involvement of staff in discussions about future directions, the use ofcross organisational working groups, and the commitment and realisation of qualifications for staff. It was alsonoted that it is a fun and stimulating organisation to work for.
